He received several commendations during his service in the U.S. Navy before attending Southern Illinois University where he graduated summa cum laude with a degree in workforce education and development. Bobinski continued his education at Idaho State University where he earned a master’s degree in training and development. He is currently completing his Ph.D. in organizational learning and leadership.

Dan and his wife have one daughter and the family enjoys traveling, gardening, and spending time with extended family.
